Here’s how NetTrac™ works. MTI staff installs the Horizon NetTrac™ module and a link to our web portal on your system. We show you how to set up a custom login and password for each shipper customer that wants to track their loads. The shipper’s special web page – the one he sees when he goes to NetTrac™ on the Internet – will have a place for his users to log in and enter the password. Once the shipper logs in to NetTrac™ the main page can even display the shipper’s custom logo and customized text that you can create just for that shipper.
Once on to this main page, the customer can look up any or all of his shipments – even without a tracking or reference number. He can ask for a date range or just leave the date and tracking number fields blank and NetTrac™ will quickly display all the loads in Horizon’s system for that customer.
