The featured MTI customer this month is Trinity Transport a contract carrier based in Lexington, NC. Trinity has 63 tractors and over 300 53’ trailers – dry vans and refrigerated units.
Trinity was founded in 1984 and provides a variety of services including dedicated fleets, driver leasing and training, warehousing, logistics, pool distribution and express service. They have been an MTI customer since 2005.
Scott McCall
They are committed to offering the best technology to provide quality service and use the Horizon suite of products for dispatching, billing, EDI, and shipment tracking as well as providing satellite tracking in their trucks.
Scott McCall, Trinity’s VP says Horizon allows him to manage key performance indicators daily allowing him to look at customer sales trends, dead head miles and dispatcher performance. McCall says, “It gives me a feeling on how the company is doing overall on a moment by moment basis”.
On a more personal note, Scott is also a talented lead guitar player for a local R&B and rock and roll band called Burke Street.
Burke Street often plays charity events and we are happy to say that they performed at this year’s Davidson County Relay for Life event free of charge to support the fight against cancer. You can see a video of the band by clicking here.
