Our highlighted MTI customer fleet this month is Hardy Brothers, Inc in Siloam, NC.   Hardy Brothers has a fleet of 54 tractors and 135 trailers both reefers and vans.  They operate in all 48 states with their primary traffic lanes being North Carolina to California, California to Pennsylvania, and Pennsylvania to North Carolina and all points in between.  They haul dry goods, clothing, imports, poultry and fresh produce.

Hardy Brothers uses the entire Horizon Suite including the Circle of Service link to their Qualcomm units on their fleet.  Eddie Hardy, President and CEO, says, “A major way we have been able to remain competitive in the ever changing transportation environment is through our long-standing relationship with Melton Technologies. Hardy Brothers began in 1965, when Eddie’s father, Ralph bought an International and began driving for a living.  He was joined by his brothers, Paul and Donald.  Today Hardy Brothers remains a family business.  Eddie joined the business in 1979 working his way up from the ground floor and became president in 1995.   Hardy Brothers is well known for their “quality of service”.

Hardy Brothers is also an early adopter of our business intelligence product, Horizon Business Analytics.  We will be keeping an eye on this implementation to determine how best to tweak it as we roll it out to our larger customer base.
